Hispanic Heritage Month

Hispanic Heritage Month

Hispanic Heritage MonthHispanic Heritage Month is a month-long celebration of Latino culture in Chattanooga and throughout the nation.  September 15 - October 15

Hispanic Heritage month is celebrated from September 15 to October 15. During this time period, La Paz Chattanooga and several other organizations from across the region will be offering special programming and activities to celebrate Latin American culture.  During this time period the majority of Latin American nations will celebrate their independence or national holidays.

We hope the greater Chattanooga community will attend these events to learn more about Latino culture and join in the celebrations of our region's Latino immigrant residents as they celebrate their birth and heritage home.

Be a Part of the Celebration

We are currently accepting activity requests for the 2017 Hispanic Heritage Month calendar.  La Paz will coordinate month-long promotion of official La Paz HHM activities.

All partners who wish to be included on La Paz's official Hispanic Heritage Month calendar must submit a $50 promotion fee (made payable to La Paz) by Friday, August 25, along with the description and details of the activity.
