FOOD PANTRY
Toma con bondad,
deja para la comunidad.
Take with kindness,
leave for the community.
Our pantry exists to support Latino families who are experiencing food insecurity by providing culturally appropriate food options to individuals and families receiving direct services from La Paz.
CLIENT
CHOICE
We operate through a client-choice model, which allows families to select their own food. This not only helps reduce waste but also offers dignity and autonomy, ensuring families receive culturally familiar foods based on family preferences and needs.

Our food pantry model is a critical part of a community’s efforts to end hunger – not only does it make it easy for the pantry to source from our local food bank, but having the opportunity to choose their own food gives our community a sense of dignity and control, limits waste, and allows us to stock and curate culturally appropriate goods.

Clients can visit up to two times a month during our operation hours: Monday to Thursday - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
PARTNERSHIP
We are fortunate to offer this resource as a Chattanooga Area Food Bank partner. Thanks to them, our pantry stays stocked with a rotation of fresh, frozen and shelf-stable products, tailored to the cultural diets of the local Latino population.
