Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program
"We just want to be there for our clients. Be someone they can count on, and be part of their support system.”
– YHDP Department
YHDP
HUD (Housing and Urban Development), its federal partners, and youth with lived experience of homelessness designed the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) to drastically reduce the number of youth experiencing homelessness, including unaccompanied, pregnant and parenting youth.

La Paz Chattanooga is proud to partner with HUD & the Chattanooga Regional Homeless Coalition to implement the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) with a focus on Latinos ages 18-24 in our city.
YHDP goes the extra mile by taking a holistic approach offering other resources to their clients, and prioritizing the overall stability of participants and their families.
